More than two dozen technology, innovation positions open at Healthworx, CloseKnit and 1501 Health Cohort Companies.
Sometimes it only takes a single solution to revolutionize an entire industry. CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield (CareFirst), and its subsidiaries are looking for the creative, pioneering, and savvy individuals who are going to build and bring those solutions to healthcare.
The innovation and investment arm of CareFirst, Healthworx, envisions a healthier future for all people. By focusing on the development and deployment of innovative solutions, Healthworx desires to make a meaningful impact in the community. They are seeking talented, mission-driven candidates to accomplish that.
Positions like Innovation Strategist and Manager of Venture Incubation are just two of the unique opportunities job seekers have to work in a start-up environment but with the backing and benefits customary of an established corporation.
“Our teams are prioritizing big challenges and opportunities the healthcare market is facing,” Ricardo Johnson, EVP of Enterprise Strategy and Healthworx, said. “We want to add creative thinkers to our team who are willing to get their hands in there. We want big thinkers who share our vision and want to apply their talent and energy in operations, incubation, investment and design to drive meaningful change in healthcare delivery.”
Healthworx portfolio companies are also looking for talent in the tech space.
Headquartered in Baltimore, designed by Healthworx, and officially launched in September 2021, CloseKnit is a virtual-first, primary care practice that members can access anytime, anywhere from their smart phone or tablet. CloseKnit is building a team of information technology experts who can deliver passion and skill to healthcare innovation through positions like Director of Solutions Architecture, UX Designer, and Director, Product Engineering.
1501 Health provides early-stage companies with investment, expertise and support to scale their healthcare solution. As companies from the first cohort graduate from their incubation program, they are looking for top talent as well. For example, Even Health is currently recruiting for a Director of Partnerships and Business Development. Even Health’s fellow cohort members—WellSet, Live Chair, BabyLiveAdvice and Pair Team—are also hiring for key positions as they develop.
Emily Durfee, Director, Healthworx Strategy and Portfolio Acceleration and co-manager of 1501 Health, said, “There is so much opportunity to build the next big thing in healthcare and a better, healthier future for our community. The talent and ingenuity of these innovators and the rapport we have with our other partners is driving change. It’s an exciting time to be a part of CareFirst’s commitment to innovation through the 1501 Health cohort program.”
